Whimsical and vintage inspired, we are so thrilled to share a&be bride Trina's mountain wedding photos. Trina and Stanley’s wedding was truly romantic, with an even more touching story behind it. We were lucky enough for Trina to share some moments leading up to the wedding with us:
Stanley (I call him Stanley because we met through an Army friend) and I spent 14 months apart while he was deployed. He proposed on his month leave during his deployment. I didn't want to even start planning until he got home, but my friends and family said it would be a good distraction while he was finishing up his last 7 months in Afghanistan. It was a bigger distraction then I had ever imagined. Stanley didn't know many of the wedding plans until the day of. (He did build our Aspen Arbor though) At the end of the night he said he wouldn't have done anything different. He is happy I won't make him watch anymore wedding shows though. (We will see about that.)
They were married at the Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby, Colorado. We simply love the bright and bold vintage accents, and the bride looked gorgeous in a Amour gown by Sarah Seven.
When asked about her favorite part of the wedding: My favorite moment of our day was right before dinner, Stanley and I snuck away and took a swing on a rusty old swing set. We had a fun and childish moment together before we started our party. It just showed that we can have fun and be silly doing anything.
