From the bride:
Craig and I were married in Chicago, Illinois on September 19, 2015 at the Art Institute of Chicago. We had an evening wedding with about 100 guests and thankfully the weather cooperated with sunshine and comfortable temps. We chose the location not only because it was where we had our first date and we are two huge art lovers, but also because it is in the heart of the city where we fell in love. We took pictures in the Art Institute gardens pre-wedding. We had the ceremony on Bluhm Terrace with a great view of the skyline. We wrote the entire ceremony ourselves, and my brother officiated. Cocktails and passed appetizers followed on the terrace, along with a sit down dinner in Terzo Piano.
Although in a beautiful museum, we wanted everyone to feel relaxed and ready to party. We planned our entire wedding and wanted to make sure each element of the night had a person touch. From our perspective - mission accomplished!
