A little Q&A with the designer:
Q. What is your design inspiration?
I am a die hard romantic, who loves France. I have followed and lived in European fashion for most of my career and hope to always portray Parisian softness in my work.
Q. Tell me two little known facts about you
1. I live in New Zealand
2. I celebrated my own wedding in our home on Rue De Seine in Paris.
Q. Describe your personal style
I have always collected vintage gowns and accessories, so I always have something vintage on:) My personal style is definitely a bit bohemian and feminine. I love wearing original pieces mixed with modern elements.
Q. What is your favorite article of clothing
My favourite piece of clothing is a hand pleated Chloé gown that I bought from Paris after I got my first job. I decided food and rent would come second to this dress. Fashion still comes first ;)
Q. Favorite vacation spot: Santorini Greece…Heaven on earth.
Q. When did you know that you were going to design bridal?
I started designing bridal after my own wedding. I was so inspired by all the laces and fabrics, that I knew this is what I wanted to do and the next step in my career.
Q. Who is your style icon? Jane Birkin
Q. Last great book you read? The Beautiful Fall by Alecia Drake
Q. Any advice for brides? Be bold:) Experiment with different silhouettes and styling.
Q. What makes your line truly special?
We really try to offer something different to the modern bride. My team and I travel far and wide to find vintage inspired fabrics and work on hand embroideries designed to make every bride feel unique. We are a team that loves fashion and hope to portray that in our collection.
