Our Favorite Boho Venues in Dallas
november 2017
While it is true Texas is most often known for its cattle ranches and its “everything is bigger” mentality, a lesser-known faction of the Lone Star state is thrift shops, gemstones, and a desert queen’s dream. For our Texas boho brides that have yet to find that diamond in the rough Venue, below are some of our favorites!
Hickory Street Annex | Dallas, Texas
Hickory street Annex is one of those places you pass by on the street without ever knowing what gem lies behind the heavy wooden doors. An amazing hideaway for the boho bride-to-be, Hickory street speaks not only to the rustic Texas bride but also to the DIY bride looking for a blank canvas. Originally a cluster of the Gulf Oil Corporation buildings, the annex is definitely an ode to an old Texas that will make the modern bride’s heart sing. Great for the bride who is looking for touches of a warehouse wedding or a space with serious industrial vibes, the Hickory Street Annex is the perfect unique wedding venue.
The White Sparrow Barn | Quinlan, Texas
At first-glance you think, barn? Do not let the name fool you, driving up to this meticulously designed, breathtakingly white barn is nothing short of a religious experience. Family owned and operated, not only does this venue echo visions of all-white weddings, monochromatic decor and a boho bride’s dream; the team of people there to help you on your big day is invaluable. Their iconic staircase balcony overlooking the reception space is ideal for wedding photos and both indoor and outdoor weddings can be accommodated. Don’t forget to take a peek at their grove where you can choose to get married under the twinkle of stars as well as strand lights!
Lofty Spaces | Dallas, Texas
Appropriately named, Lofty Spaces is ideal for the bride wanting that NYC rooftop wedding vibe. An open industrial loft perfect for the boho bride looking for a contemporary space with an open, airy vibe and amazing skyline views! The space itself is just enough, so you can dress it up or down as much as you like and there is room for that 300+ headcount wedding. So for those of you looking to throw a downtown wedding/bash and want a venue close to all the nightlife, Lofty Spaces is your go-to spot.
Prospect House | Austin, Texas
