Yes! Portland | We said Yes! to Portland and celebrated with some of our favorite folks in the industry!

december 2017

a&bé said YES! to Portland, and what better way to celebrate than an incredible grand opening party with the best local wedding vendors, the most incredible raffle giveaways...AND Llamas...that’s right, Llamas.

The day was a whirlwind of creative collaboration all brought together and directed by the ever so talented Sue Blue Events. a&bé bridal shop’s space was truly transformed with a lot of help from our friends at Classic Vintage Rentals who provided stylish furniture and decor, and a lush hanging floral installation by Brier + Ivy which framed the centerpiece of our room - a scrumptious charcuterie spread provided by White Pepper Catering. Our party guests kept our very skilled bartender, Flora Fauna, busy providing endless champagne with a splash of rock candy.

Our Portland a&bé bridal shop has separate viewing rooms for bridal appointments, but for our grand opening they served a different purpose. Hey Halle was able to capture the vibe of each room with the cutest phrases using her incredible craft of calligraphy.

One viewing room hosted DJ DMOEFUNK who laid down the funkiest of jams all night. Another viewing room acted as a hair and highlight bar to plan on our iridescent theme, all done by the magic of Mallory Savery. Our all time favorite Smirk Photobooth helped capture all those much needed selfies!

The night was full of major photo op’s, including photo’s Wedding Llamas, all captured by photographer Baylee Dennis and videography by Jessica Heron.

Needless the party was PACKED! We felt so much love by how many people chose to join us for our YES! grand opening party for our Portland bridal shop. There was a line down the block before the doors even opened! Our party was successful for a few reasons, our constant love and support from our brides, incredible planning from Sue Blue Events, and all of the local vendors that donated services and raffle giveaways. We gave away the BEST prizes, including a $3,000 dress credit, who went to the SWEETEST bride. Another incredible prize included a full wedding package which included: planning by Sue Blue Events, video by Jessica Heron Images, photos by Katie Nicole Photo, bouquet by Brier + Ivy. Wait…. More prizes were given? The local vendor generosity continued by Flora Fauna donating a floral arbor, engagement photo hair and makeup by Mallory Savery, two hours of bartending services by Flora and Fauna, and save the dates by Wide Eyes Paper Co.

YES! to Portland, YES! to all of the local vendors who contributed and donated, and so much YES! to all of the gorgeous brides who came out to support us. We felt the love, and sending right back at you!

We can’t wait to see you all at our &1 anniversary party next year!
