A Launch Party For the Books!
Our “wild hearts” are still fluttering after our Rue De Seine trunk show in Denver last month. a&bé Denver had the immense pleasure of being one of only 3 stores in the US that not only got to share the brand new Wild Hearts collection with our #aandbabes before they hit stores, but also have the lead designer and boss babe, Michele, hang out with us all weekend and help style brides.
Meet Rue De Seine
Rue De Seine is our favorite bohemian wedding dress collection out of Auckland, New Zealand, and a&bé Denver exclusively carries the collection in Colorado. All of the dresses are made in New Zealand, and Michele hand designs all of the drool worth fabrics that create these one-of-a-kind gowns. When we find out that Michele is going to be flying halfway across the world to share her talent and love with our brides, we know we have to celebrate in a big way.

One of our core values at a&bé is valuing our community which includes our team, our designers, our local vendor community and of course, our brides. This weekend proved to us without a doubt that we are a part of the the most kick-ass community. When a bride finds her dress at a&bé, it’s so much more than just finding the perfect style. Becoming an #aandbabe means that our brides become a part of our family. They are now connected to this incredibly encouraging, supportive and crazy talented community of makers and entrepreneurs.
This is How We Do Launch Parties…
The number one goal of a trunk show is finding the perfect dress, but we like to have a lot of fun while doing it, and we are sure lucky that there are a lot of vendors in Denver who feel the same way.
Gorgeous Florals
Stephanie, from Lalé Florals, made sure that the shop was feeling extra festive for the weekend with the most incredible floral arch and custom bouquets in each fitting room. Also, as a congrats for finding her dream gown, each bride also went home with the sweetest little plant as a gift from Lalé. The arch made for the perfect photo backdrop for our brides to take their ‘officially an #aandbabe’ pictures in!
Captured Moments
The incredibly talented Ashlee, of Ashlee Crowden Photography hung out with us throughout the weekend and was snapping away while brides hunted for the perfect gown. Finding the dress is obviously the ultimate picture worthy moment, but capturing your friend’s reactions and the moment you got to meet the designer of YOUR wedding dress, was also just as priceless.
Eats, Treats, + More
After day one of the trunk show, we invited all of our trunk show brides to celebrate with us at one of our favorite local restaurants, The Kitchen. Each bride received a gorgeous invite in the mail courtesy of Pixie Chicago, and Rocky Mountain Bride helped us pull off the most magical event. We were so excited to be able to get together as a community and snack on some amazing food and cocktails while surrounded by gorgeous gowns and amazing company. To top of the night, we had several brides walk away with some incredible giveaways.

Once again, Lalé florals filled the space with the most unique floral arrangements inspired by the Wild Hearts collection, and Joseph Cutshall music set the mood perfectly with his acoustic talent.
We are incredibly grateful that our Denver community loves Rue De Seine as much as we do, and we were so excited to be able to pass on the love to our brides. Sarah O. Jewelry created a one-of-a-kind necklace that was given away to one lucky trunk show bride as the perfect finishing touch to her bohemian wedding look.
Jay Davis Bags are the perfect accessory for a Rue De Seine bride on her wedding day, and creator and owner, Jess created a custom line inspired by the Wild Hearts collection. The giveaways just kept on coming when she surprised a lucky #aandbabe with her own bag!
We even had our friend and local realtor, James Berkley helping our brides continue the celebration after her wedding day with an extra special gift card to West Elm for her to style her home.
The Wild Hearts Trunk Show is one that we won’t soon forget, and it was all made possible by our incredible brides. We are so lucky to work with such fun, stylish, kick-ass brides who share our obsession of Rue De Seine.
