When Should You Start Shopping For Your Wedding Dress?

When to get your dress?

That's a loaded question. Let's chat about it, babe.

The first thing a babe should ask herself is, "What do I need to decide about my wedding before I get my dress?" A lot of the time the answering is nothing because the dress can set the tone for everything else. However, some #aandbabes prefer to have their venue picked out so they can picture themselves in their dress at the spot they're going to say the big I do. It's totally up to you but it's worth a thought before booking. When you shop the chances are that also means finding the dress! Pre-shopping isn't really a thing when there is the possibility of finding, "the one!" So be ready to do this & let's get you in the shop!

If you have the time 9-12 months until your wedding

This is going to be the best timeframe for having access to all the options without any additional rush fees or stress of alterations right before the big day. Normal alterations can take 2 - 3 months. Plus we know some of our babes love to do a bridal portrait session before the big day & that means your wear date is even sooner than your wedding date! We factor all those things in, babe. We've got your back.

If you have less than 9 months until your wedding

If you don't have the time - you're not alone & we can take care of you! We have designers that have stock options & rush options. The difference in a stock option & a rush option is that stock is pre-made & waiting for you! We can talk about what is in stock & even if it is not the ideal fit it could be something alterations can easily take care of for you!

can you rush a Wedding Dress?

Rush options have a fee because it means the designer is moving your dress to the front of the line & making it in record time just for you. Either way the babes in the shop know which dresses this is possible with and which it is not.
