WHY BABES ON A MISSION SUPPORTS: LOVELAND FOUNDATION
september 2020
Loveland Foundation provides therapy resources, primarily mental health therapy for Black women and girls nationwide. by partnering with four therapy companies (Therapy for Black Girls, National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network, Talkspace and Open Path Collective), Loveland Foundation recipients are provided with a wide array of mental health professionals across the country.
Loveland Foundation was created in 2018 by Rachel Cargle after her extremely successful birthday fundraiser, Therapy for Black Women and Girls, which raised over $250,000. Loveland Foundation is a continuation of the original fundraiser and provides fellowships, residency programs, talking tours, and more, in hopes to provide Black women and girls access to heal and the opportunity to speak with therapists that are people of color.
ultimately, Loveland Foundation’s goal is to contribute to both the empowerment and liberation of the communities they serve and Babes on a Mission is proud to support them.
