FIVE UNIQUE WAYS TO EXPRESS THANKFULNESS AT YOUR WEDDING

are you a bride wanting to express thankfulness at your wedding? if so, we’ve outlined five ways to express gratitude on your wedding day! we firmly believe that your wedding day is meant to be a celebration of love. for us, love and gratitude just go together. so gear up for some meaningful wedding details. we’ve got thanks to share!

sentimental wedding detail items

typically, your photographer will ask you to gather wedding items for your detail shots. these items could be your wedding shoes, your invitation suite, flower petals, and more.

if you want to make your wedding detail shots sentimental, you can ask loved ones to include items that would match your wedding aesthetic and speak to your love story. thoughtful touches like your grandmother’s perfume, your mother’s locket, or a note from your partner, will not only show your gratitude in the moment, but also serve as a reminder of your foundation as you look towards the future.

personalized wedding vows

your wedding vows are a key element of your wedding ceremony. they are a time when you can express your gratitude for those in attendance and share how thankful you are to be marrying the love of your life.

when exchanging vows, don’t be afraid to add touches of humor and heartfelt memories. your vows are a wonderful opportunity to lean into your emotions and authentically acknowledge the person that you’ll be spending forever with.

unique wedding guests experiences

many couples give their guests personalized thank you notes at their wedding. while we love this idea, we also think it’s fun to give your guests a unique wedding experience to express your gratitude for their presence. you can do anything from hosting a picnic-style lunch the day before your wedding, to renting a venue with a pool and making sure everyone enjoys the amenities at the end of your wedding day.

whatever personalized idea feels the most authentic to you and your wedding guests is what you should do!

thoughtful wedding favors

wedding favors don’t have to be traditional, in fact we encourage you to think outside of the box when it comes to thoughtful wedding favors. what would you be excited to receive as a wedding favor?

one concept we find particularly fun is coordinating your wedding favors with a particular experience during your wedding day. maybe your favors are mini kits to make your signature beverages or recipes to recreate cocktail hour appetizers at home. in the case of this wedding, guests were treated to popcorn wedding favors along with a variety of movie snacks before snuggling up to watch a movie after the reception!

family toasts at the reception

toasts are a powerful way to extend your love and care for all present. craft a heartfelt speech that welcomes your guests to your wedding reception. make sure to include your sincere thanks for all those that have traveled near and far to witness your love and celebrate your marriage!

once you’ve shared your thanks, provide an opportunity for close family members or friends to express their gratitude as well! many parents, siblings, or dear friends, will be honored to be mentioned in speeches and recall these precious moments for years to come.
