since we here at a&bé bridal shop are a sister ourselves (shoutout to our sister-shop anna bé bridal boutique) we are all about sister power. we know that good things usually come in twos and tara lauren is no exception! run by a team of sisters, tara and shaina healy, tara lauren was born from this sister duo's diverse backgrounds in fashion. with a childhood based in bridal and being true romantics at heart, tara and shaina have redefined effortless bridal style, making danceable gowns that are daring, dreamy, and delicate. currently carried at two a&bé locations — austin and denver — we suppose the lucky number two has played quite a part in bringing this non-traditional bridal brand to our #aandbabes.

HOW TARA LAUREN BRIDAL GOWNS BEGAN

at a young age, tara and shaina fell in love with bridal during their time spent in their mom's bridal shop. growing up surrounded by wedding dresses, tara and shaina quickly became mesmerized with the creation of beautiful, bespoke gowns. the sisters credit their mom with their love of wedding dresses and much of their knowledge of bridal design.

to this day, tara and shaina continue to keep the love they had for their mom's boutique and unique bridal experiences always in mind. in growing tara lauren to reach modern brides throughout the world, tara and shaina realize the importance of individuality, entrepreneurship, and intimate interactions. "we strive to preserve the care of a small independent business while reaching more brides that desire this kind of approach to bridal.”
