STAND OUT BRIDAL TRENDS FROM NYBFW OCT 18
october 2018
Let's talk about the stand out trends from New York Bridal Fashion Week. This market was so strong, babes. We can't wait for the shop to fill up with all the new things over the coming months.
Sleek with a tweak. A few of our favorites bridal designers including Alexandra Grecco, Theia, & Jane Hill brought us the clean modern look but with details that make all the difference. Appliques, buttons, ribbons, cut outs & even fringe are all present & accounted for in the line-up of crepe dresses. Modern silhouettes/necklines
We are loving off the shoulder everything. As the collective love for off-the shoulder dresses grow so do the options. We have a Haley Paige ballgown, an Alexandra Grecco sheath dress, & and embellished fit & flare from Jane Hill.
Flutter sleeves, anyone? Anais Anette & Laudae both brought feminine to the forefront in a ruffle-y way we can get behind.
Textured Everything, I mean...have you taken a look at the tulle dusted in pearls from Rose+Williams or Watters? What about the hand applied heart dress from Hayley Paige? Jane Hill has the petal thing covered in the sexiest way. Even Laudae's sleek gowns are reminiscent of a luxe corduroy to the touch!
Creative veil alternatives. Our final and potentially favorite trend to call out has to be the veil alternatives. Give us a long train with just the right amount of drama & we're happy no matter the delivery. From capes to robes to wings - we want it all. While we will always be loyal to the ever romantic veil we can't help but fall for these modern alternatives. [Rish robes, MWL wings, Alexandra Grecco Cape or Tara LaTour]
