You’ll be the creative and analytic engine behind our social community that makes brides stop scrolling and think “this is my place!” You’ll work in a scrappy, results-driven environment (doing more with less, while making weddings more fun for everyone). This role reports to the Marketing Director and collaborates cross-departmentally (store teams, marketing, sales, design).
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Execution
Partner with the Marketing Director to refine and execute an organic social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook that aligns with business goals
Stay ahead of social trends, new platform features, algorithm shifts to continue our reputation as the original bridal industry disrupter
Develop and execute seasonal or campaign-specific social media strategies to drive engagement and create buzz around key moments for the brand
Team Leadership & Management
Lead and support two Jr. Social Media Specialists by assigning tasks, providing feedback and training, and ensuring brand consistency across channels and feeds
Serve as point of contact for our 15 shop teams: support their local feed needs, coach store managers on content best practices, enable local content generation (in-store shoots, stories, channels)
Provide routine training to store teams on social media best practices for content creation and communication management
Content Creation & Curation
Create compelling, on-brand content (photo, video, short-form, static posts) tailored to each platform
Oversee the visual aesthetic of multiple feeds—ensure consistent brand look and feel while capturing the unique personalities of each location
Campaigns & Promotions
Support influencer campaigns by managing influencer partnership communication, planning, deliverables and tracking
Collaborate with Marketing Director to integrate social media into broader marketing campaigns (email, in-store promotions, events) and contribute to overall go-to-market strategy
Analytics & Reporting
Manage and grow all company feeds across platforms while partnering with the Marketing Director to establish follower growth, reach, engagement, and conversion metrics
Analyze and adjust social media strategies based on performance data and emerging trends to ensure continuous growth
Conduct competitor and trend analysis to keep brand competitive in the wedding/social space
Present findings and recommendations to leadership (CEO, Marketing Director) and store management
Collaboration & Brainstorming
Participate in the strategy and recommendations for accounts and campaigns
Lead brainstorming sessions to generate content ideas for seasonal or brand-specific initiatives
Collaborate effectively with local shop teams on local business related initiatives and needs
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
Build community through responding to comments and direct messages from our brides across all platforms
Regularly train shop managers on social media management and content creation best practices
Assist in planning and execution of annual photoshoots (logistics, creative collaboration, asset capture)
Coordinate with external photographers/videographers for styled shoots that can be used for content
Miscellaneous responsibilities tasked by management that is deemed necessary
