A little Q&A with the designer
Q. What is your design inspiration?
Most of the time my inspiration comes from the fabrics and laces I meet. I am very much affected from ancient/old style and silhouettes and always try to bring modern vibe to it.
Q. Tell me two little known facts about you
I am an Israeli, 33 years old, married to my business partner and a mother to 3 little babies. I have a BA is psychology. Before being a designer I worked as a therapist, but fashion was always my first love.
Q. Describe your personal style
My style mainly consists of skirts and high-waisted trousers. Shirts with interesting sleeves. Vintage style but meticulous attention to the details.
Q. What is your favorite article of clothing
My favorite article of clothing is a pleated skirt which I created from an old curtain I got from my mother in law. I added beaded pearls and stones to it. It turned out amazing and each time I wear it, I get so many compliments.
Q. Favorite vacation spot
New York is my favorite place in the world! It has a combination of culture, fashion, beauty and a life pace which is so different from any other place I know.
Q. When did you know that you were going to design bridal?
When I looked for a bridal gown for myself, I couldn't find anything I fell in love with and that lit the fire in me to create bridal gowns which are different.
Q. Who is your style icon?
My style icon has always been fabulous Coco Chanel! Her clean, elegant, timeless style has always been attractive to me.
Q. If you could dress any celebrity, who would it be?
I think it would be Natalie Portman. I very much like her look and her fashion choices.
Q. What is the last great book that you read?
A good book I read lately is Veronika Decides to Die - a novel by Paulo Coelho. It tells a story about a woman who chose not to walk in the common way and finds her own, new independent way.
Q. Any advice for brides?
My advice to brides is to stick to their style when looking for their wedding dress.
