Real Wedding: Kim + Paul
As seen in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine:
“When two of your dearest friends finally decide to spend their lives together, as a wedding planner, there is no bigger celebration! Paul and Kim decided to go to the courthouse to get married and have a nice dinner with their closest family and friends. But, something just wasn’t quite right about not being able to celebrate their commitment in a more public and traditional way. Knowing just a few basic details about their wedding date and the location, Paul and Kim entrusted me completely with their wedding details. I partnered with some of the very talented, Denver-based vendors to create a laid-back, yet simply elegant and romantic wedding for these very deserving friends. All of the details from Kim’s grandmothers’ earrings and a borrowed veil to the home-state nods to Michigan (cherries from Michigan filled love-quote bags that became the centerpieces of the cocktail tables), Minnesota (marrying in front of a lake, reminiscent of the land of 10,000 lakes), and Colorado (marrying in their current home-state) found throughout their wedding design and décor came together to create a truly personalized wedding day. At the reception in Beatrice and Woodsley’s wine cellar, guests were greeted with personalized notes from the bride and groom, each filled with gratitude for sharing in their day. And, the stamped spoons guided guests to their seats, where laughter and conversation filled the candle-lit room, creating the coziest ambiance and a celebration lasting into the night.”
