did you ever have a treehouse growing up? a little secret hideout that was home to your favorite books and hours of pretend. maybe you dragged your toys out onto the cedar floor for a change of scenery every now and then. we’re guessing your treehouse was a safe spot. a place seeming to swirl with sunlight, dreams, and imaginative delight. maybe you outgrew your forest fort or maybe as you’re reading this, you realize you need to make a trek back through the woods to see the remains of your once treasured fortress. well, if we’re being honest the second we opened morgan and lane’s wedding gallery we were transported back to our treehouse days. where branches scraped the windows with every slight breeze and the world seemed boundless, teeming with life among the trees. a dreamy déjà vu of comfort, cherished memories, and rustic wooden whimsy swept through us. this wedding day was filled to the brim with endless elegance and creative enchantment, a true token of treehouse charm.
did you get a hint of nostalgia when you saw their wonderful wooden reception space? the giant farm table and white taper candles, a minimal wedding tablescape with earthy greenery and elegant draping. huge hazy windows ushering in sunlight and giant green plants pushing against the panes. not only did their big day feel like a fairytale, but so did many of morgan and lane’s wedding day details. the bistro lights, the tap truck that poured pints all night long. the greenery that found its way into various spots, from the naked wedding cake to the bridal bouquet, and the exquisite beading on morgan’s ‘tommy’ by made with love wedding dress. as if this romantic bohemian bridal gown was designed with their california wedding reception in mind, tommy’s floral lace looked magical and mesmerizing at their unique sacramento wedding venue.
it’s not every day that you get to take in a modern wedding day that is both soft and statement-filled. we know that the same care morgan and lane put into their special day will carry them through every moment of life. cheers to you, morgan and lane.
