let’s be real, wedding planning doesn’t always go as planned. though we know it’s easier said than done, we always encourage our brides to not let the unforeseeable interfere with their happiness. that advice is exactly what #aandbabe jacqueline and alex did when their initial wedding day plans didn’t quite go as planned. jacqueline explains, “we had to downsize and reschedule our day last minute due to the caldor fire where our original venue was located. we ended up getting a last minute permit for muir beach and having a downsized dinner in my parents’ backyard with about 40 of our closest family and wedding party. we are still planning a full reception in early 2022 so we can celebrate with all of our friends and family but we are so grateful that we got to have our day on the original date”. turning lemons into lemonade, these two took to this quiet pacific coast cove to celebrate their marriage. it may not have been the big wedding they envisioned, but it was a day of gratitude and time spent cherishing their closest friends and family members. we can confirm this misty wedding at muir beach is a must-see.
from film photos to an intimate reception dinner with breathtaking views, jacqueline and alex’s private coastal wedding was elegant and full of exuberance. jacqueline’s bohemian rue de seine ‘kyara’ wedding dress stood out with its original bridal design. kyara by rue de seine’s structured, silk-lined bodice and deep v neckline added elements of tradition, while the folk-art lace remained enchantingly indie in spirit. we love how jacqueline accessorized her boho bridal look, from a long statement veil to a jacket as the temperature dropped later in the day. each sweet candid photo seemed to speak to their special love story and the mountaintop trails that drifted into a cliffside fog was the perfect place to start forever.
