okay, picture this… it's wine night. nothing out of the ordinary, a couple of your closest friends, corks, and conversations. chilled bottles of chardonnay, maybe a charcuterie board if one of your crafty friends had a little extra time to make rose petal pepperonis. single life is good. you spend your time sipping wine, feet in slippers. just as you're taking another fruity swig from your fancy glass you hear something that sparks your interest. a friend mentions that she has an employee who has "a good job" and drives "a nice car". a thought pops into your mind, but it isn't until weeks later that you inquire further and end up receiving a text from this good-job-nice-car guy. texts lead to calls, calls lead to dates, dates lead to full-blown weekend trips, and come fall 2016 you're moving into your first home together in eden prairie, minnesota. if you didn't guess by now, this is the exact love story of #aandbabe jenna and matt and we have a sneaky suspicion you know how it ends.
on "a chilly fall day", october, 15th, 2021to be exact, jenna and matt got hitched. their rustic farmhouse chic wedding in welch, minnesota was a celebration of love with no shortage of romantic details. from their wedding hashtag, #jennasperfectmattch, to the adorable golfing photo on their wedding invitation, it's clear that these two poured every bit of their personality into each element of the big day!
wearing rad vibes only joggers to pop champagne and then changing into their light sage gowns, jenna's bridesmaids cheered her on as she got ready for her walk down the aisle. jenna, sporting 'hadley' by alyssa kristin, was a vision in this fitted full sequin wedding gown. with organic shimmery strips and a plunging v-neckline, this fit-to-flare sparkly wedding dress was undoubtedly a statement look. pairing alyssa kristin's hadley wedding dress with statement fringe 'ellie earrings' by untamed petals and sara gabriel's 'donna veil', jenna's whole look was contemporary countryside bridal glamour at its finest.
jenna and matt's cozy white barn reception space kept the glam vibes going as guests enjoyed an evening of food, drinks, and fun. their lush sweetheart table boasted comfy velvet armchairs and a roaring fire behind them. these two switched from staying warm by the fire to warming up on the dance floor. there truly aren't many more magical moments than being surrounded by loved ones with chandeliers glowing above, your sequin wedding dress shining, and the polished concrete floors casting a foggy reflection of your every move.
as jenna and matt made their way out into the crisp night, their guests lined the barn pathway to bid them adieu. nothing but big smiles could be seen at their sparkler wedding exit and we can't help but be in awe of their magnificent minnesota wedding day.
