MINNESOTA LOVE STORY
a love story that came to life due to mutual friends and long study sessions at the university of minnesota. #aandbabe sophia and teddy met as high school seniors during a halloween party. their instant connection led to a first date and many after that. upon graduating high school, sophia and teddy both attended the university of minnesota. “there, we studied our butts off, made lifelong friends and gained priceless memories”.
STILLWATER, MINNESOTA WEDDING
fast forward to april 2022, the month these two were married. although their rustic-chic wedding ceremony took place at the loft at studio j, sophia and teddy made sure to also include some of their favorite spots around the city when taking their wedding photos. from kissing in front of a stillwater trolley to taking solo photos at the stillwater lift bridge, their city wedding was original and relaxed.

sophia found her ‘camila’ wedding dress by alyssa kristin at a&be bridal minneapolis. while browsing wedding dress shops in minneapolis, our hennepin avenue location stood out for its unique yet classic wedding dress collection.
when shopping for her dress, the timeless off-the-shoulder neckline of this alyssa kristin wedding dress captured sophia’s heart. loving the gown’s fitted silhouette, structured bodice, and statement train, sophia ultimately said yes. excited to wear this gown on her wedding day and even surprise her guests with the detachable straps for a second wedding dress look.
ENGLISH NETTING VEIL
when styling the gown, sophia selected elegant wedding accessories that would compliment the simplicity of this sleek and modern wedding dress. rue de seine ‘parisian veil’ extended past camila’s long train.
besides her elegant english netting wedding veil, sophia wore a thin pearl bracelet and sophisticated spaced pearl necklace. this pearl bridal jewelry set was stunning and certainly completed her signature traditional wedding style.
LOFT WEDDING CEREMONY
with white rose petals sprinkled down the aisle, sophia and teddy said i do in a well lit corner of their urban loft warehouse wedding venue. exposed duct work hung above them as did an elegant chandelier and bistro lights. with red brick walls, gold chiavari chairs full of their guests, and their wedding party standing beside them, sophia and teddy’s loft wedding in minnesota was full of love.

MILA BY MADI LANE
jessa found her romantic madi lane wedding dress at a&be bridal sacramento. while she initially had thought her wedding dresses in sacramento search would end with an a-line gown, she was pleasantly surprised to fall in love with the more fitted silhouette of ‘mila’ by madi lane.
with a fitted skirt through the hip and then a flowy bottom, madi lane’s mila dress is the perfect mix of comfort and structure. the lace bodice has a sweetheart neckline and soft sheer bell sleeves that can be removed for a second reception dress look. adding more layers of tulle to cascade from the simple sleeves, jessa created a whimsical bridal cape that wowed at her springtime city hall wedding ceremony.
the scoop back and charming chapel train of mila wedding dress added to its instant allure. jessa chose to order her gown in the ivory/champagne color option. this fitted sheath wedding gown’s botanical lace embroidery especially stood out in this color, allowing everyone to see the intricate details.

accessorizing her dainty short sleeve wedding dress with dainty wedding accessories, jessa tied her entire madi lane bridal look together effortlessly. wearing ‘chiffon wings’ by made with love, these removable bridal cape wings draped over the back of the chapel length tulle train during their intimate wedding ceremony.
rose gold bridal tiara
with colorful flowers tucked into the back of her bridal updo, jessa wore a rose gold bridal tiara with floral details. this gold tiara headband picked up on the champagne hues of her dress. statement wedding headbands are definitely in style and we love how effortlessly this metallic tiara paired with her ethereal wedding dress.
UNIQUE WEDDING MEMORIAL IDEAS
along with their original wedding decor, jessa and andrew incorporated unique memorial ideas to remember and honor loved ones at their wedding. one of our favorite examples of this was a chair sign that read “we see you in every sunrise, sunset & within all the stars. you’re watching from the best seat in the house. wishing you were here mom & dad”.
WEDDING RECEPTION VENUE
jessa and andrew’s lively reception took place at the dorian in san francisco. while this parlor was the perfect place to celebrate and dine, jessa and andrew also took advantage of the amazing food trucks parked close by.
OFF THE GRID, SAN FRANCISCO
digging into some of the best donuts in the city, jessa and andrew visited johnny doughnuts food truck for their wedding dessert. cutting into their gourmet doughnut as they would a wedding cake, these two spent the remainder of their wedding day roaming around off the grid. enjoying live music, lots of food, and the final moments of their exciting day, this bay area market made all their wedding afterparty dreams come true.
