nestled in idaho’s west central mountains, tamarack resort is a charming destination. as the idaho mountain wedding venue of #aandbebride shayne and camille, this remote event space served as the perfect wedding spot. shayne and camille hosted a stunning church wedding ceremony and ended their big day with an outdoor wedding reception. with scenic views and special details, their elegant mountain wedding in idaho was a dream.
church wedding venue in idaho
when selecting a wedding venue in idaho, shayne and camille were drawn to the intimate feel of tamarack resort’s small chapel. the quaint elements and historic charm set the tone for their entire ceremony and reception.
not only did this wedding venue have stunning architectural details, but it was also surrounded by nature. with the oversized gothic arch windows overlooking the surrounding forest, the picturesque natural light and woodland setting felt fitting for their relaxed nuptials.
chapel wedding flowers
matching the flourishing trees outdoors, shayne and camille’s wedding flowers were natural and whimsical. their color palette of ivory and neutrals coordinated with the church's interior to create a harmonious ambiance and airy aesthetic.
golden pedestals sat on both sides of the altar with whimsical florals sprouting out from all angles. the mixture of flower types created dimension, as did the spaces between each bunch. at the bottom of each pedestal white flower petals were sprinkled all around.
‘agave’ dress by alena leena
when is came time to buy a wedding dress, shayne visited our a&bé boise bridal shop. upon trying on alena leena’s agave dress, shayne immediately knew the gown was her favorite! the floral lace fit their wedding style and she was able to adjust the gown’s train length to fit her bridal vision!
accessorizing this lace corset wedding dress with a long veil, shayne glowed. wearing her hair down in soft waves, shayne finished her look with a chunky pearl comb and small pearl earrings. these pops of pearl matched the tiny pearl embellishments on her straps and brought the whole bridal look together.
wedding ceremony exit petals toss
upon saying ‘i do’, shayne and camille walked back down the aisle and exited the chapel’s front door. their guests were lined up and held paper cones full of flower petals. as they walked down the front stairs, guests threw their petals and their friends and family cheered them on.
following their petal toss, everyone gathered at the outdoor reception space. sitting at wedding tables draped in white tablecloths with small floral arrangements sitting on top, the reception space felt classic and chic. bistro lights hung above and in the center was a black and white checkered dance floor.
textured wedding cake
nothing says rustic wedding quite like a floral wedding cake covered in petals and texture. shayne and camille’s five-tier wedding cake was absolutely stunning. evoking a sense of elegance and acting as a decor piece at their outdoor wedding, their floral wedding cake was so fun!
as the evening went on, everyone ate cake and flocked to the dance floor, filling the mountain air with abundant joy. shayne and camille participated in their final flower petal exit before setting off to start their forever!
