pretty soon after meeting each other, liv and chase could tell they were a wonderful fit. liv even shares, “we immediately hit it off, so much so that two days into talking, he told me ‘we were either destined to be best friends or get married’ — and it turns out we were destined to be both!!”
western-inspired wedding invitations
your wedding invitations often encapsulate your wedding theme and are one of the first hints guests received on what to expect. not only do they serve a practical purpose, but your wedding invitation suite is often photographed and saved to look back on. due to its important nature, couples often use their wedding invitation and stationery design as a fun ode to their wedding colors, flowers, and more.
liv and chase got creative with their country-themed stationery and included artwork of a cowboy and horse on their save the date and envelope liner. in their detail shots you can see how they not only held true to their sky blue wedding color palette, but also leaned into it to tell a story.
with a custom crest and coordinating wax seal featuring a lasso, their western wedding invitations included lots of local inspiration and original artwork.
country chic wedding fashion
making sure their wedding fashion felt modern, but still in line with their country-western wedding theme, liv and chase styled their wedding looks in a variety of ways.
‘harry’ by made with love
liv visited a&bé bridal shop in dallas, texas and immediately gravitated towards more minimal wedding looks. ultimately deciding on made with love’s ‘harry’ wedding dress, liv knew that this classic wedding look fit her personal style and would be perfect for the western wedding dress touches she wanted to add.
with an open low back and fitted silhouette, this simplistic crepe wedding dress felt classical and clean. the detachable bridal train was a fun element that also felt unique for their wedding ceremony and photos.
rhinestone bridal boots
when it came time to select bridal accessories, liv knew she wanted to make a statement with sparkle. picking short white bridal cowboy boots covered in rhinestones, these bridal booties were comfortable and on-theme!
pearl wedding veil
the sparkle didn’t stop at her shoes, liv also wore a pearl embellished veil that tied the whole bridal look together.
cowboy hats
another fun wedding accessory that both liv and chase wore were cowboy hats. chase’s cowboy chic groom attire included a black cowboy hat that matched his suit. later in the evening, liv also rocked a white bridal cowboy hat with a short veil and white feather.
western wedding decor and styling
western charm could be seen not only in what the couple wore, but also their reception decor. with rustic farm tables, romantic lighting, and lots of greenery, their personalized decor was perfect. mixing rustic touches with traditional wedding decorations, their romantic wedding reception felt cozy and refined.
hotel drover’s ‘the barn’ space felt inviting and grand. with natural details like oversized barn doors, vaulted ceiling with reclaimed timbers, and stonewalls, the space encompassed their elevated country-western wedding aesthetic.
rustic wedding cocktail ideas
with additional nods to their western-themed wedding present throughout, one of our favorite touches was their signature cocktails and signage. showcasing their dogs, fancy, finn, and winston, in cowboy hats and bandanas, this sweet detail showed the love and care that went into their wedding planning.
sipping on margaritas, whiskey sours, and moscow mules, guests danced the night away. liv describes their reception at hotel drover as “an EPIC celebration with all of our friends and family”.
