what are you most proud of in regards to a&bé?
“i am most proud of the community that we have built - not just in our local markets but connecting across cities, connecting with the coolest brides, and some seriously kick-ass designers.”
how would you describe your personal style?
“hmmm... sadly, I'm generally trying to guilt myself into getting a workout squeezed in so it involves some sort of athletic-inspired wear. but, when i am pulled together i tend to have a soft spot for 60s and 70s inspired clothing and love dresses. dresses all day, every day.”
what's your ideal weekend away?
“crested butte. it's my favorite place - about a 3.5 hour drive from denver and it's just magical. if you haven't been there, go now. the weekend would include lots of great hiking, biking around town, having a cocktail at elk avenue prime and hanging with friends.”
what are you excited about?
“generally speaking: family, work, and hockey are pretty much where all of my energy goes! i feel lucky to have a job i love, a family that puts up with the hours i work, and understand how much i love to work, and a son who loves to play hockey as much as i love to watch him play.”
what's an unexpected quirk of yours?
“i'm a total insomniac - maybe that's not unexpected but generally speaking there's a good chance I'm awake from 2 am - 4am. it's when i do all of my netflix watching.”
do you have a signature scent?
“nope. occasionally i steal the hubs old spice deodorant.”
how do you like your coffee?
“black”
signature drink?
“black coffee (maybe that has to do with the insomnia) but i also love a good old fashioned or glass of red wine”
favorite spot in your city, denver?
“denver is the best - there are so many great spots but one of my favorites may be red rocks”
