Although they had a few hiccups along the way, Lauren and Tom had their perfect wedding day with amazing views for their ceremony. Lauren wore Alzbeta by Wtoo and Tom’s face during their first look is absolutely epic!

We had a stressful time planning a wedding... plans had changed during the pandemic from a 200-person wedding to 15 people. Fire bans had changed our wood-fired pizza oven plans for catering. Our videographer and officiant couldn't make it to our big day. My husband's clients exhibited COVID symptoms the week of our wedding, so we had a last-minute COVID testing frenzy. It was stressful! When I woke up the morning of our wedding, I knew today would feel different. The entire day was perfect. The ladies started the day with coffee and pampering at a local salon, then came home and we all ate sandwiches and had first looks.

The sun was shining brightly, there was no wildfire smoke in the sky, and our families were there. We didn't have a ceremony location (living with adventure!), so we drove up the nearest mountain pass and found National Forest land that overlooked our gorgeous mountain home. We had so much spare time that we got to drive to different locations with our photographer and soak in the fact that we are married!

We came back to a charcuterie board, Italian food, cupcakes, and champagne. Our family made toasts to us, we had our first dance, and I tossed the bouquet to a metal song! My dad looked over at me during the day and said, "Remember this will be the best day of your life." It truly was. It was magical to feel all the love and happiness, to see some happy tears, and to marry the love of my life in our dreamy little mountain town.
