throwing up peace signs, sipping sanpellegrino by the trunk load, and partying in quite possibly the coolest wedding trolley ever. from rose colored glasses to glasses full of rosé, #aandbabe mackenzie and chris’ fun front yard wedding in minneapolis, minnesota was the perfect way to celebrate this next chapter of life. mackenzie and chris met in portland, oregon in 2013. mackenzie shared a few details on their dreamy engagement and wedding. “we got engaged in february 2020 on the oregon coast and got married in my parents front yard back in minnesota (both minnesota natives, mackenzie from the twin cities and chris from milwaukie, wisconsin).” their romantic outdoor wedding ceremony was full of charm and classic details. from touches of greenery to their whimsical wedding getaway car, mackenzie and chris made the most of their midwest wedding celebration.
where do we even start?! mackenzie's menswear-inspired ‘haven’ by alexandra grecco wedding dress was truly unique and sleek. from the covered buttons down the front to the striking deep v-neckline and center slit detail, this wedding dress was meant to turn heads. edgy, but still exquisite, mackenzie accessorized her simple wedding dress perfectly with our ‘donna veil’ by sara gabriel. with a soft fingertip length veil, white strappy block heels, and her hair in a chic twisted bun style, mackenzie's entire wedding look was easy and cool. not to mention, we loved how the short tulle veil blew slightly in the breeze and didn’t cover up the gown’s open back and criss-cross strap design.
ending their big day with bride and groom portraits beside their furry best friend, drama, mackenzie and chris didn’t let a single moment pass in celebrating the special life they have built together and all the adventures to come. with their backs to us, these two drove off in their classic vintage getaway car adorned in flowers and a ‘just married’ sign. the joy, the elegance, the jams… we may never get over this intimate front yard wedding.
