we know food puns and memes are fun to many, but this couple took their laughter and wordplay love language to a new level when anthony’s proposal to amelia included "a photo album of all of their food puns.” with the last pun reading "will you rosemarry me?”. their unique mountaintop engagement seemed to be an indicator of just how special and meaningful their wedding day would be. as these two began wedding planning and were met with delays due to the pandemic, they realized that they didn’t want to wait any longer to be married. it was then that #aandbabe amelia and anthony decided to elope. and on a hazy summer day, they did just that.
much like their love story, their wedding day was extraordinary. amelia recalls the peaceful environment she enjoyed on her magical wedding morning and noted “you could hear and feel the vibrations of the hummingbirds flying from tree to tree while getting ready.” both amelia and anthony read notes they had prepared for each other and were ready to make their way to the woods to exchange vows and finally seal their fate at their intimate forest elopement. with candle lanterns lining the wooden altar, amelia and anthony stood hand in hand and said 'i do' among the hummingbirds and hovering trees. filled with gratitude and eager to celebrate, these two made their way to a secret woodland picnic. complete with a cheese board, polaroid camera, taper candles, and antique colored glasses, amelia and anthony dug into their colorful mini wedding cake. this precious wedding cake, covered in wildflowers and whipped cream pastels, was literally and metaphorically the icing on the cake to their cherished colorado forest elopement.
much like the textured florals on the small wedding cake for two, amelia’s ‘penny’ by made with love wedding dress was lush, lifelike, and full of flowers. penny’s curve-hugging silhouette and exposed corset bodice was accented by 3D lace and subtle beading. this latte-lined wedding dress complimented the neutral colors of their wooded surroundings and the illusion mesh back added a playful pop of trendiness to this timeless wedding gown. from the dramatic lace embroidered train that covered the stone steps of the rustic cabin wedding venue to the soft tulle sara gabriel veil that hung from the bridal suite’s statement light fixture, every element of amelia’s elegant elopement outfit paired perfectly together.
their relaxed wedding in evergreen, colorado ended in "an impromptu reception on the deck with the owner's family, playing music and singing around a campfire” and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate. true to their core and soaking in the secrecy of their picture-perfect elopement, amelia and anthony whirled in the romance of their wonderful forest wedding.
