a crested butte, colorado wedding full of color, sunshine, and champagne. from the bridal party sipping bubbly to leather bar stools fit for epic bride and groom portraits, #aandbabe carly and douglas trekked through rain showers and wildflowers to have the intimate outdoor wedding of their dreams. from a custom pastel arched ceremony backdrop to a flower petal exit, the duntons relaxed july wedding was an all-out celebration. lively and overflowing with love, carly and douglas’ colorado nuptials were a mix of wild whimsy and casual lovestruck comfort.
carly’s ‘rio’ by rish wedding dress set the tone for this easy and elegant mountain wedding. rio’s lacey fit-to-flare silhouette was sophisticated, while the plunging neckline and pom-pom trim added a playful twist. not only is this lace and crochet wedding dress chic and carefree, but the open keyhole back added a cool detail to this already unique bridal gown. pairing this easygoing wedding dress with multiple bridal accessories helped tie the whole look together. carly donned, ‘donna’, a delicate pale ivory ballet tulle veil by sara gabriel as well as untamed petals' ‘bowen comb’ and hushed commotion’s ‘roan’ sash. from the opal accents in this oversized bridal comb to the rhinestones of the intricate ribbon belt, carly’s bridal style was fresh and fun.
carly and douglas exchanged vows under bright blue skies with a beautiful backdrop of mountains surrounding the couple and their guests. while the day did bring an occasional overcast sky and raindrops, carly and douglas made the most of the weather changes. whipping out clear umbrellas and making their way down to the dock for a dreamy wedding day photo on the water. in town, carly and douglas took full advantage of a bar photo op, dug into their mini naked wedding cake, and soaked in the love of their closest friends and family. public house served as a cozy reception space and this modern colorado saloon saw off carly and douglas as they ran down the sidewalk with a petal toss wedding exit. from green fields to taking this ski town by storm, this summer wedding in the mountains was laid-back and fun-loving.
