ROMANTIC LONG DISTANCE LOVE STORY
meeting at michigan state university, #aandbabe miranda and matt started out as friends. their solid foundation built on common interests and shared experiences soon evolved into a romantic relationship. after two years of long distance, the two “decided to move across the country together”. in 2015 they packed their bags and headed to oregon.
years passed and their new life in the pacific northwest turned into a steady routine and true home. in 2020, 5 years after they met, miranda and matt got engaged on the oregon coast.
traveling to sedona, arizona to seal the deal, these two said i do on october 9th, 2021. from finding love in east lansing to exchanging vows among basalt and limestone cliffs in stunning sedona style, miranda and matt’s unique love story is full of fierce adventure and fearless love.

the views of this outdoor overlook wedding ceremony are incredible. it doesn’t get much more magical than pledging your love among panoramic views of sedona’s majestic red rocks. with a beautiful natural backdrop, this outdoor terrace wedding at agave of sedona was exclusive and elegant.
not only was the outlook amazing, but so was their modern outdoor ceremony decor. miranda and matt opted for simplicity with sleek rectangular flower stands. the floral pedestals' warm gold color complimented the vibrant florals intertwined among the installation and the mountains in the distance.
finished off with potted cacti at the base of both aisle sides, this contemporary desert wedding design was chic and simple.
STATEMENT MADE WITH LOVE WEDDING DRESS
no stranger to stylish wedding fashion, miranda’s ‘riley luxe lace’ made with love wedding dress corresponded with their trendy desert wedding style. this fitted made with love wedding gown’s plunging v-neckline provided clean lines and the sequin lace embroidery exuded endless classic wedding details. contrasting the traditional elements, the gown’s fun tulle bridal wings added a whimsical touch.
miranda chose mwl’s pebble lining option, which added a subtle pinky nude hue to the fit-to-flare silhouette. the look of this light pink wedding dress against the red rock buttes in the background was a picturesque pairing we won’t be getting over anytime soon. complete with the couple’s earthy wedding color palette, we’re obsessed with all the neutral colors and natural textures that made miranda’s made with love gown glow.
as the scallop lace trim shimmered in the desert dusk, miranda and matt captured a few mountain cliff bride and groom portraits before making their way to their elegant indoor reception. greeted by friends and family these two walked onto the dance floor with happy hearts and drinks in hand.
their wedding table was covered in colorful florals and their ceremony flowers were repurposed for the reception. each detail flowed seamlessly together to create a dreamy ambience that was ideal for their indoor reception dinner at agave of sedona. trading the natural light of their arizona terrace wedding for the timeless style and twinkle of their wedding venue’s montage ballroom.
cutting into their simple succulent wedding cake, miranda and matt ended their simplistic desert wedding in pure newlywed bliss.
