GRAND CITY HALL WEDDING
from glistening marble floors to karat gold leaf details, san francisco’s city hall is the perfect spot for magnificent micro-weddings with a luxe feel. while there are several spots where couples can be wed, elise and anthony chose to exchange vows at the top of the grand staircase.
their small city hall wedding ceremony that took place on the second floor was followed by the couple roaming around to get bride and groom portraits. grabbing gorgeous photos on the marble staircase and even climbing onto a window seal to get the perfect modern wedding photo, elise and anthony looked elegant and effortless in every wedding snapshot.
SYDNEY BY ALYSSA KRISTIN WEDDING DRESS
being that the backdrop of this city hall wedding was so ornate, elise’s minimal crepe wedding dress totally stood out! finding ‘sydney’ by alyssa kristin at our sacramento bridal boutique, elise knew this square neck crepe wedding dress was perfect for her from the start. saying yes to her statement alyssa kristin wedding dress with family and friends, elise celebrated with margaritas the day she found her gown!
we loved that elise stayed true to the modern look of this contemporary wedding dress by styling it with classic bridal accessories. the cathedral length veil felt elegant while elise’s sculptural gold earrings stunned. covered buttons lined the back of the dress to the godet, creating a truly timeless bridal look.
WEDDING DINNER AT DEL POPOLO
after their vow exchange, elise, anthony, and their guests went to a popular wood-fired pizzeria nearby to continue their wedding celebrations. dining in del popolo’s ‘the garden’ space, this enclosed patio felt rustic and romantic. heated lamps kept everyone cozy as stories were shared around the table.
ending their wedding day with wine, pizza slices, and the best company, elise and anthony’s city wedding came to a charming close.

SAN FRANCISCO PRIDE LOVE STORY
ever daydream about bumping into the love of your life on the dance floor? well, we’re here to tell you that dreams do come true! hannah met erica at a club on pride weekend at a lesbian dance party. hannah recalled their first encounter by sharing, “she approached me on the dance floor, but before she could say anything, i dropped my drink and glass shattered everywhere. she helped me clean it up, and then we spent the entire night together. we haven't been apart since”.
ROMANTIC CITY HALL WEDDING
hannah and erica’s san francisco city hall wedding ceremony took place at the fourth floor gallery. with gorgeous natural light pouring in and an arch framing their ceremony setup, their ceremony space felt airy and elegant. the ambiance was enhanced by a local string duet playing throughout the ceremony. while several beautiful ballads carried through the large gallery, the duet’s violin version of lady gaga’s ‘born this way’ was a special song hannah and erica enjoyed at their classic and cool city hall ceremony.
BENNETT BY TARA LATOUR WEDDING DRESS
both brides opted to wear black on the big day. hannah found her black wedding dress, ‘bennett’ by tara latour, at our sacramento bridal shop with erica. loving the avant garde look of this black matte satin ball gown, hannah made it her own with statement gold jewelry and a floral hair accessory.
wearing her hair in a slick bridal bun, hannah opted for a large white flower to be placed on the side of her bridal updo. with her hair pulled back, guests were able to see the gown’s velvet strap detail and delicate tie back. this open scoop back ball gown was definitely a statement and totally matched the vibes of their intimate wedding day!
DOUBLE DECKER WEDDING TRANSPORTATION
after the ceremony, everyone hopped onto a double-decker bus for a short city tour. this post-wedding activity was planned by hannah and erica so that their out of town guests could see some of their favorite san francisco sights! hannah explains, “many of our guests had never been to san francisco, or even california, before so they got to see the city. then the bus dropped us off at stable cafe, where we had dinner, toasts, and dancing”.
WEDDING DINNER AT STABLE CAFE
making their way to stable cafe’s beautiful courtyard seating, guests were transported into a secret garden full of greenery and bistro lighting. wooden farm tables were set for guests with glassware and dark green dinner napkins neatly displayed.
enjoying their delicious meal and toasts, this patio wedding reception was the perfect way to wrap up their unique wedding day.
