Growing up in her mom’s sewing studio, Truvelle’s founder and creative director Gaby gained the knowledge and drive to start her own line. Seeing the need for dresses that make brides feel just as comfortable as they are beautiful, Truvelle has emerged as one of a&bé’s easy favorites. Gaby and her team have consistently embodied their girl powered dream of gowns with mindful design. With the goal of zero waste during production their gowns are not only beautiful, they are thoughtfully made. This Vancouver based company focuses on attention to quality, the “little things” and overall coolness for the effortlessly confident bride which makes the emergence of their 2019 collection one we are all excited for! Named for the women who keep Truvelle running, the new collection of 8 gowns speak to the individuality, strength and spirit of the women who’ve inspired them.

If you ask all of us here at a&bé to make a list of our top favorite designers I can promise you Truvelle will be on every. single. list. This company and the amazing dresses they make hold a very very special place in our heart. In their own words Truvelle describes their line as “made-to-order dresses with a heavy emphasis on design, fit, and quality. With unconventional elements and a whole lot of effortlessness, our gowns are designed for the confident, easy-going bride.” We describe them as the absolute perfect line of gowns that fit like a glove and are everything our bridal dreams are made of. Honestly they’re flawless.
There is no other line like them. I also truly believe there are no other dresses that give a bride the feelings these do. Time and time again we have brides who walk out of our shops so much more confident then when they walked in because a Truvelle dress let them see the real beauty they already possessed. It is one of the coolest things to experience. It’s part of the magic that Truvelle has created with their gowns. It also doesn’t hurt that they are all made by hand in their Vancouver studio and can be completely customized to be everything you’ve ever wanted.
