when picking your wedding vibe, what are the elements that you look at? while crystal chargers and acrylic menus at place settings easily elevate your luxury wedding, there are even subtler decor decisions that will make your ideal theme a reality. today we’re exploring the frequently coveted ‘rustic romantic wedding’. let’s dive into some of our favorite ideas from this styled wedding in seattle and how you can get a similar cozy wedding celebration look.
rustic wedding venue
one of the best ways to make sure your wedding stays on-theme is choosing a venue that matches the aesthetic of your big day. if you want an adventurous carefree wedding, maybe a mountain overlook fits that vibe. or perhaps you want a fairytale reception complete with a giant dance floor. in that case, checking out ballroom wedding venues will probably be your best bet. while most spaces can be transformed, you’re setting yourself up for smooth sailing if you pick a wedding venue that doesn’t need a total flip to fit your wedding style.
WEDDING BARN VENUE
need another example? take a look at this staged intimate wedding in snohomish, washington. trying to create a calm and chic feel, the barn-inspired venue was perfect. white shiplap walls covered the airy bridal suite and the farmhouse loft held rustic finishes like a vintage full-length mirror and antique furniture. these tiny details spoke to the unique taste and scenic moments. creating memories and adding a fresh spin on things, this homey wedding venue and bridal suite was only the beginning of the romance achieved at this rustic wedding in washington state.
WEDDING GARDEN VENUE
upon exiting the charming wedding venue, you’ll see a lush landscape with a central lawn. shrubbery and flowering plants almost enclose this space, making it feel like a secret garden of sorts.
past the lawn, a grape vine-covered pergola offers an ideal spot for bride and groom portraits. keeping in theme with the rustic romantic details, this worn structure is enchanting and leans into the natural beauty of this garden wedding venue.
one easy way to strengthen your rustic wedding design is by using natural touches. from flowers to greenery, your wedding venue will look countryside classic with ease.
long sleeve wedding dress by The Label
besides the venue, the dress is likely the next most important factor to consider when nailing down your wedding style and theme. whether you’re wanting a formal bridal look for a nighttime wedding or a casual bridal outfit for your daytime destination wedding, we know how important your wedding dress is to the overall feeling… and to YOU!
at this styled shoot, the dress absolutely assisted the soft semi-formal garden wedding we were hoping to achieve. ROSE by The Label wedding dress looked effortless and elegant, especially once styled with simple bridal earrings and a pulled back bridal hairstyle.
in the case of this wedding photoshoot, ROSE and ROSE BLOUSE also had a practical purpose, keeping the bride comfortable. as there were light rain showers during the day, this organza bridal jacket was perfect for extra coverage while looking chic.
we didn’t take any photos without the jacket, but it is important to note that this long sleeve bridal topper can be removed. for brides wanting a more dramatic look to their wedding gown, ROSE’s strapless sweetheart neckline offers a modern bridal look, as does the surprise addition of puff sleeves in select photos.
now that you know to keep an eye out for both venue inspiration and wedding dress inspo in order to achieve your dream wedding, let the wedding planning begin! we can’t wait to see what vision you decide on, babe!
