thanks to tinder and a fun first date at there be monsters in portland, oregon, #aandbebride tara and michael found a spark almost immediately. from shuffleboard to years of memories, fun was a given when they were together.
after years of fun, michael made it official. getting engaged on new year's eve, this adventurous couple wrapped 2020 with a proposal. sharing that their engagement was the best way “to end the year on a good note since it had been a challenging year for everyone”, their celebration had just begun.
PACIFIC NORTHWEST WEDDING VENUE
home to hiking, wineries, and more, hood river, oregon was an ideal destination for tara and michael’s summertime wedding. their the orchard hood river wedding was complete with lush gardens and lavender fields.
their meadow-like surroundings were complimented by the farm wedding venue’s one-of-a-kind farm-to-table amenities. after getting married under a flower covered pergola, tara, michael, and guests, enjoyed a cocktail hour full of tasty hors d'oeuvres and a wedding charcuterie spread.
with garden pathways and a photo booth van parked outside for guests to enjoy, their relaxed wedding venue felt like a welcome space to sit back and soak in all of the memories made over the years together.

tara found her anais anette bridal dress at a&bé bridal shop portland. visiting our oregon bridal boutique with friends and family that flew in from seattle, denver, and more, tara had her whole crew by her side as she found her dream long sleeve lace wedding dress.
tara loved this illusion lace bodice wedding dress, but wanted to add more drama to the look with a romantic bridal cape. customizing ‘julianne veil’ by sara gabriel to be a bridal cape that fastens at the shoulders, this unique wedding veil alternative matched the charming feel of this simple summer wedding.

ending their big day by slicing into a tiny edible flower wedding cake, tara and michael’s dessert table held so many delicious treats. decorated by hand painted acrylic signs and displaying everything from pastries to wedding dessert parfait cups, good food and great memories were ample at their beautiful outdoor wedding in oregon.

WASHINGTON, D.C. LOVE STORY
while in d.c. #aandbebride christiana and greg met in the federal trade commission's cafeteria. their lunch run-in and friendship quickly turned into something more, but it wasn’t until a winter blizzard hit that christiana and greg’s relationship became official.
“as a pennsylvania native, greg showed christiana, a california girl, how to make the most of the weather with fun walks in the snow, fresh stew, and plenty of hot cocoa.” by the end of the blizzard, they officially began dating.

from affordable winery wedding venues to award winning vineyard wedding venues, california is home to countless winery wedding locations. christiana and greg’s villa san-juliette wedding venue felt like a tuscan-styled wedding dream come true.
located in paso robles wine region, this romantic outdoor wedding arbor and patio was the perfect backdrop for their timeless spring wedding. with a concrete pathway and bistro lights marking the ceremony space, christiana and greg got married in the evening under a bright blue sky.
ALENA LEENA GARDEN ROSE
much like the lush setting of their outdoor patio wedding in paso robles, christiana’s wedding dress had stunning floral lace embroidery on the bodice and train.
christiana found her alena leena wedding dress at a&bé bridal shop sacramento. originally coming in for a different dress designer, christiana found herself drawn to the wow factor of alena leena bridal garden rose.
while she knew she loved the blossoming bustier front and delicate lace train, christiana wanted long sleeves instead of beaded straps. since alena leena bridal is able to accommodate a wide range of customizations, christiana was able to add long sleeves to this fitted wedding dress.
walking down the aisle in a long sleeve alena leena bridal gown, christiana glowed with her whimsical red wedding bouquet in hand. giving one last hug before walking up to the altar, christiana and greg’s wedding ceremony was completed by the “presence of family and friends”.
IDEAS FOR A RED WEDDING COLOR PALETTE
one of our favorite details from christiana and greg’s elegant winery wedding was the pops of red throughout their sophisticated decor. starting the ceremony with red tasseled wedding welcome cards and ending their cozy wine cellar reception by changing into a traditional red wedding dress, bright colorful touches were everywhere.
